The UN Association of Finland provides education and educational material regarding global responsibility and advocacy work, delivers and produces news items relating to the UN, and influences the Finnish UN policy.

Ever since the Association was founded, its central task has been to share information to the Finnish people about the United Nations' principles, goals, structures, and topical issues.

The Association currently produces a variety of information, mostly in Finnish. We try to cover basic information about the UN and topical issues in relation to our own annual emphasis. We produce information for the general public, particularly school teachers and journalists.

The materials we produce vary greatly, including bulletins, news translations, guidebooks and specific materials for schools, such as tool kits and tips in relation to the UN days or Model-UN simulations.

Most of the information that we have gathered on our website is available in English elsewhere provided by either the UN News Centre, other national UN Associations, or our international cooperation partners.
