Workshop on Sustainable Development Goals: Implementation with active participation from civil society

28 to 30 October 2015, Helsinki
You can also participate only on selected days according to your interests.

The purpose of this workshop is to provide a space for sharing of experiences around advocacy work related to SDGs between East African and Finnish NGOs. What is the role and influence of civil society? What can we do together to promote the implementation of the goals?

During the workshop the facilitator will work with the participants in order to create a space of mutual learning and promote new ways to do advocacy work related to the SDGs. Each day has an introduction to the theme by experts.

Sustainable Development Goals were agreed in the UN on the 25th of September in 2015. The transformative agenda is a plan of action for people, planet and prosperity and it seeks to take the world onto a sustainable and resilient path.
