The UN Association of Finland:

• educates about global responsibility and possibilities of influence
• provides information about the UN and its actions
• influences Finnish UN policies

Ever since the Association was founded, its central task has been to share information to the Finnish people about the United Nations' principles, goals, structures and topical issues.

The Association nowadays produces a lot of information, mostly in Finnish. We try to cover basic information about the UN and topical issues in relation to our own annual emphasis. We produce information keeping in mind the large public, and particularly school teachers and journalists.

The materials we produce vary greatly: there are e.g. bulletins, news translations, guidebooks and specific materials for schools, such as tool kits and tips in relation to UN days or Model-UN simulations.

Most information that we have gathered to our website is available in English either by the UN itself, other national UN Associations or our international cooperation partners.
